CPH Hotel am Schloß

Apolda is a town in Thuringia, located on the Ilm River and about 20 km northeast of Weimar. Its history dates back to the 8th century, when the town was first mentioned. Among the sights are Apolda Castle, which is now acultural centre and the town museum, there is also the Apolda Avantgarde Art Museum. Apolda’s more than 250 years of bell-founding tradition have made the town known beyond the region as a bell city. The annual Apolda Onion Market is one of the largest public festivals in Thuringia.
